Induction Programme
The orientation program was held on 24 th Aug, 2009. The main aim of the orientation program is to welcome and make the new students familiar with the our institutes, N.S.V.K.M.S. MBA College. The Invited guest in the function was Shri R. S. Patel (Officiating chairman of the Nootan Trust), Shri M. L. Patel (Secretary of the Nootan Trust), Shri B. I. Patel (Joint Secretary of the Nootan Trust), Mr. Hintendra Akhani (B. M. HDFC Bank, Visnagar) and Mr. D. Panda (Superintendent of Nootan General Hospital).
The Program was started with the motivating Speech by Dr. Jayaashish Sethi (HOD of the institute) and introduced with other faculty members and MBA program. The Key note Speaker Mr. Hintendra Akhani had put the focus on how the MBA Programme is useful in the Banking Sector and talked of importance of MBA in a corporate world. |
Seminars
‘CREATING WINING EDGE IN YOUR PERSONALITY'. "First Impression is the last Impression". Mrs. Sonali Dewadkar, Director of Careerxone.com, was invited to impart knowledge about Personality Development.
Session was conducted during a day on topic like Improving Personality Skills , Assertive Communication, Body Language, and with specific focus on the Basic Interview Skills & they also taught about some Importance Business Manners. Personality is main aspect in developing a great career and is helpful for surviving in globalized corporate world.

Mr. R. D. Patel, Chairman of City Tiles, Himatnagar was invited to Provide Knowledge on Contemporary Management Skill.
Session was started by removing one of the “misconception getting a MBA degree is not important for getting job but is a more useful to be an Entrepreneur”. He also discussed Importance of education in Life, listing advantages of education. He cited stories related with Contemporary Management Skill. He emphasized that how to lead life & importance of sacrificing something for the people who had helped us in achieving good or top position in personal as well as corporate life. Mr. Patel also focused on concept of ‘Earn while you Learn' by giving several real life example.

‘LEARNING IS AN ENDLESS PROCESS' Mr. Dhaval Joshi, Territory Head, Mahindra & Mahindra Finance, Mehsana , was invited to deliver inspirational talk on Personal Growth. He focused on the conflict resolution grid – which is used for getting knowledge of what kind of person one is as well as what kind of person with whom one is dealing. It can be said that by this method a manager can get maximum work done from his/her subordinates.
He also discussed the Johari Window Model that is to be used for getting a view of ourselves as it appears to us and as it appears to others.

National Conference - 2010
The third consecutive conference will be organized by the institute, which is in planning phase right now. The theme of the conference will be kept looking to the relevant business scenario to attract attention of everyone including professional delegates, management teachers, researchers, consultants, management students, as well as the people from around area. This conference will be intended to engross the participants about the recent transformations and its impact on the business landscape. |
Aarth – 2010
The third consecutive event Aarth 2010 which is planned phase will be organized by the institute. The theme of the event is polish the competitive skills among students. The event includes various formal and informal competitions like Business Quiz, Stock Market game, New Product launch Game, Debate , Business Strategy Game, Dance & Singing competition , Mr & Ms Earth and Rangoli. |
Blossoms – 2009
The Blossoms 2009 was held on September 13, 2009 for the newcomers to welcome them. It had both formal and informal events including dance, singing, Ms. and Mr. Blossoms etc... The alumni meet was also organized on the same date.
